These rollers have low resistance and are therefore easy to operate. Further advantages at a glance: * High chemical resistance to a wide range of acids, alkalis, oils and greases * Low wear and tear * Robust material for a long service life ## Polyurethane Polyurethane rollers are particularly suitable for heavy-duty applications. They have low rolling resistance and rubber-elastic properties. Further advantages at a glance: * High chemical resistance to a wide range of acids, alkalis, oils and greases * Low wear and tear * Robust material for a long service life * Low noise development and shock-absorbing behaviour even on hard floor surfaces ## Tandem Advantages of a tandem tyre compared to a single tyre: * Better control on uneven ground * Easy to overcome thresholds or flat kerbs * Weight distribution and wear distribution across several rollers ## Fork length A fork length of 1,150 to 1,200 mm is recommended for picking up euro pallets (1200 x 800 x 144mm). These lengths ensure that the forks do not protrude beyond the pallet and that the pallet rests securely. ## Fork width For safe longitudinal transport of Euro pallets, a fork width of 520 mm to 560 mm is recommended. ## Steering roller material Polyurethane tyres are designed for normal use. Nylon tyres are suitable for very flat floors and produce less abrasion, but have less traction. Solid rubber tyres reduce vibration as well as noise, but produce more abrasion. ## Fork Roller Coating The single castors are particularly space-saving. Tandem castors have a smoother ride on slightly uneven ground. In addition, wear is distributed over two castors. Polyurethane castors are designed for normal use. Nylon castors are suitable for very flat floors and produce less abrasion, but have less traction. Solid rubber castors reduce vibrations as well as noise, but produce more abrasion.
