Overview
Suitable for remote control, operator can locate and pick up drums from a distance. Highly reliable mechanism has only
one moving part ensuring durability.
Fully automatic drum tongs offer fully automatic grip and release.
The tongs are simply lowered over the drum with the pads open.
The mechanism turns through 90 degrees releasing the pads on contact. On lifting the drum, the tong pads close and grip
the chimb (lip) of the drum tighlty.
When the drum is deposited the mechanism turns through a further 90 degrees, locking the pads open. The tongs can
then be lifted clear.
